D ear participants, with this event, we want to remember the Master Willi Geller, and above all honor the precious heritage of values he left us, which we want to help preserve and pass on to future generations. The Memorial is an opportunity to pay tribute to the master, his work, and commemorate his legacy, highlighting his achievements and contributions to the field of dentistry. It is a unique opportunity to share his philosophy and that of oral design, a passion for beauty and excellence in dental aesthetics. Being present means being part of a moment in history where the past meets the present and the present projects itself into the future without distorting the true essence that underpins the oral design philosophy: the individual and his uniqueness at the heart of our commitment, nature as an example to be imitated, and passion as the guiding thread of our being.

As organizers of the Willi Geller Memorial, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to Trento. We are honored to host such an important event in our city, dedicated to the memory of a great Maestro of dental technology. This is an unmissable opportunity to retrace, through the memories of oral designers, the history of Willi Geller, his passion for aesthetics, and his relentless pursuit of perfection, marked by revolutionary innovations in the dental field. But we will not only talk about memories. Sixteen Oral Designers from all over the world will illustrate the techniques that are an integral part of our work and the materials we use, and will guide you through their work on a journey of excellence and passion. You will have the opportunity to attend workshops and lectures of the highest level and to engage directly with the protagonists.

The Master Willi Geller

Willi Geller was a genius, an innovator, an artist, a dental technician whose extraordinary creativity and passion left an indelible mark on the dental world.

He was a pioneer of innovations in materials and techniques that are still used today all over the world.Willi Geller was also a pioneer in an approach oriented towards patient well-being and establishing a two –way relationship with the clinician interacting with the patient for case’s success.In 1982, he founded the Oral Design group with the aim of spreading his philosophy throughout the world.

The first member was the Italian Giuseppe Zuppardi. In 1988, he founded the company Creation Willi Geller, manufacturer of the famous brand of dental ceramics. A tireless creator, he was a source of inspiration for many dental technicians, becoming an emblematic figure. The legacy he left us is an immense treasure.

Philosophy

In 1982, Willi Geller founded the Oral Design group with the aim of sharing his philosophy worldwide.
This philosophy is based on an approach focused on the well-being of the individual, making a close and collaborative relationship between the clinician and the patient essential.

At the heart of this approach lies respect for the patient, their uniqueness, and their personality. From this foundation comes the possibility of achieving excellent results.

The first member to be appointed was Giuseppe Zuppardi.

Over the years, the Oral Design group has grown significantly and now includes 142 members from 35 countries.

Each national Oral Design group operates independently, with its own culture, structured to reflect the characteristics of its country while cooperating with members from other nations.

The Oral Design International Foundation oversees the Oral Design groups in each country, manages the core operational matters shared by all member countries, and facilitates cooperation between them. It supports national meetings and plays a key role in maintaining and promoting collaboration among the groups, as well as in the organization of cultural events, congresses, and hands-on courses.

The Oral Design International Foundation places patient aesthetics first, emphasizing harmony with nature while never overlooking the functionality of rehabilitations, always with the patient’s overall health as the primary goal.
